Summary
Digip Search is now available as an approved connector in Claude’s directory. Connect it to check whether a name is available across more than 190 jurisdictions without leaving your conversation. Every Digip account includes five free trademark searches a month.
We recently launched Digip Search, our MCP server for trademark data, and it’s now available as an approved connector in Claude’s directory. That means you can check whether a name is available without leaving the conversation you’re already having with Claude.
Why Claude?
Anthropic created the Model Context Protocol, the open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data, so Claude was the natural place for us to start. Once you connect Digip Search, Claude can query our trademark data across more than 190 jurisdictions and use the results as part of whatever you’re working on, whether that’s naming a product, reviewing a rebrand or preparing for a launch in a new market.
How does it work?
When you ask Claude about a name, it runs a search through Digip and gets back the potential conflicts, each with a similarity score. Those scores are deterministic, which means the same search returns the same result every time. Claude then does what it’s good at and explains what the results mean in the context of your question, so you can see which conflicts matter and which ones you can set aside. If you decide to file, our attorneys can take it from there.
We’ve built it this way on purpose. The data should be precise and consistent, and the reasoning belongs to the assistant and to you.
What does it cost?
Every Digip account includes five trademark searches a month for free. This isn’t a trial that ends after a few weeks, and you don’t need a payment card to sign up.
How do you get started?
