Digip MCP Server and API Services
Digip provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and API that allow you to access Digip's trademark search and classification tools through supported AI assistants.
Data processed through the MCP/API
When you use the Digip MCP connector or API, we process:
Search inputs
Trademark names, brand terms, and related search parameters you submitClassification inputs and outputs
Descriptions of goods/services and the Nice Classification results generated from themGenerated reports
The content of trademark conflict search reports created on your behalfAccount and authentication data
API keys, customer/account identifiers, and authentication tokens used to associate requests with your Digip accountUsage metadata
Timestamps, tool/endpoint called, and request status, used for billing, rate limiting, and service reliability
We do not access or collect the AI assistant's conversation history, memory, or any other content beyond what is passed to us through a specific tool call.
How this data is used
Data submitted through the MCP/API is used solely to perform the requested search, classification, or report generation, to maintain your account and usage records, and to improve the accuracy and reliability of our search and classification tools.
Data retention
Search inputs and generated reports are retained for the duration of your account. Usage/billing metadata is retained for auditing and billing purposes. You may request earlier deletion of report data by contacting us (see "Contact Us").
Sharing Your Personal Information
We work with trusted third-party service providers (“Service Providers”) to operate our website and deliver services. These providers:

AI assistant platforms
When you access Digip's services through a supported AI assistant (such as Anthropic's Claude, or OpenAI's ChatGPT), the assistant platform transmits your request to our MCP server and returns our response to you. The AI assistant acts as a data processor/intermediary for this transmission and is bound by its own privacy terms governing how it handles data passed through tool calls. Digip does not grant any AI assistant provider access to stored account data beyond what is included in an individual request.
Third-Party Tools for Analytics and Personalization
We use tools to measure usage, improve the experience, and allow social sharing. These tools may collect anonymous metrics such as browser type, page visits, and interactions.
